Dead Air Pays Tribute to America’s Elite with Limited-Edition Sandman X Suppressors

Some gear is built to perform. Some gear tells a story. Dead Air’s latest release manages to do both.

The Utah-based suppressor maker just unveiled two exclusive limited-edition versions of its popular Sandman X suppressor, paying tribute to two of the most respected units in U.S. military history: the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), better known as the Night Stalkers, and the legendary 5th Special Forces Group.

These aren’t just another special finish or laser-etched logo slapped on a tube. Each suppressor features the official insignia of its respective unit engraved directly onto the body and comes individually serialized. Better yet, production numbers are extremely limited, making them as collectible as they are capable.

More Than a Suppressor

Dead Air didn’t stop at commemorative markings.

A portion of every suppressor sold will be donated to the Night Stalker Association and Special Forces Association Chapter 38. Both organizations work to preserve the legacy of these elite warriors while supporting veterans, active-duty personnel, and surviving family members.

“The Night Stalkers and Green Berets have spent decades carrying the fight forward while defending freedom across the globe,” said Dead Air CEO Ernie Beckwith. “This project is our way of honoring their service, preserving their legacy, and giving back to the communities that continue to support these warriors and their families.”

That’s a mission most shooters can get behind.

Sandman X Performance Still Comes First

Of course, no one is buying a suppressor solely because it looks good in the safe.

The Sandman X represents the latest evolution of Dead Air’s proven Sandman platform, engineered for hard-use shooters who demand reliability. Designed to reduce sound signature, tame muzzle flash, and strike a balance with backpressure management, the suppressor is equally at home on semi-auto rifles and precision bolt guns.

In other words, it’s built for serious work, even if its engraved artwork makes you hesitate before scratching it up on the first range trip.

Get One Before They’re Gone

Dead Air plans to release these Night Stalker and Green Beret editions exclusively through its website, and quantities are expected to disappear faster than a suppressed rifle report on a windy day.

For collectors, military history enthusiasts, and anyone looking to support organizations serving America’s elite warriors, these limited-edition Sandman X suppressors offer a rare opportunity to own something with genuine meaning behind it.

The only question is whether you’ll actually shoot it or just admire it every time you open the safe.
