According to the product listing, the Retro safety is precision machined from a block of hardened billet steel, and it’s contoured around the edges. In addition, the safety shaft is cut to ensure a snug fit in even the most oversize 1911. This thumb safety requires minimal fitting to the internal safety lug. This product comes in two different finishes: satin polished blue and polished stainless steel.
