Payson, Arizona-based manufacturer HPR Ammunition has unveiled its new Black Ops line of defensive ammunition.
Recognizing the need for a round that offers superior accuracy and exceptional takedown force, the Black Ops line boasts Open-Tipped Frangible (OTF) projectiles that transfer all of its energy into the target. The OTF projectile tracks straight through a number of soft barriers like sheet rock, plywood, car doors, and auto glass. When the projectile enters soft tissue, the jacket and core separate with furious force of impact, resulting in mass force trauma. In addition, the lighter OTF projectile means reduced recoil. When push comes to shove, you’ll stay on target.
The HPR Black Ops line — which is California Compliant due to the fact that it is lead-free — is available in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 auto, and .223 Remington for use in both full-size and compact handguns. MSRP ranges from $28.19 to $32.49. See below for additional details.
