The New York City Police Foundation and NYPD recently announced the debut of the new Crime Stoppers van, made possible through the generous support of Foundation Trustee, Clyde Brownstone.

The van is equipped to display videos and wanted posters while the Police Department canvasses neighborhoods seeking the public’s help in capturing some of New York’s most dangerous criminals.

The Police Foundation offers rewards up to $2,500 for anonymous information that leads to the arrest/indictment of a violent felon(s), and has approved more than $2 million in rewards since the program’s inception in 1983.
