Daniel Defense has gone lightweight with its newest rifle series: the DDM4v11.
First the first time ever, Daniel Defense has added a rail system featuring a KeyMod attachment system.
The newly designed SLiM Rail 15.0 offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics and modularity.

KeyMod is a recoil resistant, two-part, direct attachment method for accessories that offers outstanding “return-to-zero” when accessories are removed and reinstalled.
“Our customers have been hounding us for a KeyMod rail,” Jordan Hunter, Daniel Defense Director of Marketing, said in a release. “Not only were we able to deliver, but we managed to reduce the weight. You’ll be amazed at how light the V11 feels in hand.”
The long, 15-inch rail gives operators the option to have the support hand extended out closer to the muzzle allowing them to drive the gun more precisely and prevents over travel when transitioning between multiple targets.
The V11 is available with the 16-inch Government, 16-inch Lightweight or 18-inch Strength-to-Weight (S2W) barrel. The SLiM Rail, which is an acronym for Slim Lightweight Modular, will be available for individual sale at a later date.
The DDM4v11 retails for $1,599.
