Spartan Blades made some serious waves at the 2014 BLADE Show with its all new Spartan-George V-14.
After collaborating with prolific knife maker Les George on the V-14, Spartan Blades took home the show’s “2014 Collaboration of the Year” award.
The V-14 has an overall length of 11.5 inches, a blade length of 6.75 inches and a weight of 9.28 ounces, making for an incredibly well-balanced knife.
Addition of a full tang design along with the .25 inch thickness makes for a very reliable blade. Not stopping there, each blade is double deep cryogenically heat treated and tempered to add edge retention and toughness curing a problem that has plagued past military daggers.
The hollow ground fixed blade dagger has an overall blade hardness of 59-60 HRC.
The ergonomic and textured handle of the V-14, available in black or green, is specifically designed with comfort and confidence in of grip. The handle is a divergence from tradition as it is oblong with flats on each side to assist in the use of the knife during hours of limited visibility.
