The Luth-AR Stars and Stripes Carbine Furniture Kit
The Stars and Stripes Furniture Kit includes everything you need to show your patriotism on your next range day. Included in the kit are a 9-inch Palm Handguard® KeyMod, an MBA-3 Carbine Buttstock, and a Wing Grip. Each component features a custom Cerakote American Flag design that works together for an overall “Old Glory” aesthetic.
9-Inch Keymod Palm Handguard® (Stars)
Constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum, the handguard represents the Union, with enlarged stars sitting on a field of blue. The Union gives way to the stripes, connecting it to the rest of the overall theme. Featuring a triangular profile, the free-float tube includes a Palm Handguard barrel nut made from heat-treated alloy steel with manganese phosphate finish.
Running the length of the sides are Keymod attachment points, while a full-length Picatinny rail rides the top for optics or other accessories. Likewise, the bottom features a row of slots for attaching accessories, such as a bipod. The lower sides of the handguard include the Luth-AR “Double L” and Cartridge lightning/cooling cuts for further heat dissipation.
MBA-3 Carbine Buttstock Assembly (Stripes)
Compatible with commercial and 6-position Mil-Spec buffer tubes, the MBA-3 is constructed of strong glass-filled nylon and features a striped finish. The MBA-3 features a 3-Axis buttplate with length-of-pull, height, and lateral adjustments. Likewise, the adjustable check rise helps to finalize the perfect customizable fit.
With a modular design, the buttstock also includes multiple attachment points for a sling, including molded pockets that accept Grovtec QD cups. Additionally, a rail attachment rides along the bottom for attaching a monopod. Finally, an anti-rattle screw set keeps your AR quiet until you are ready to bring the noise.
Ambidextrous Wing Grip™ (Stripes)
Finally, the Ambidextrous Wing Grip rounds out the theme with its striped motif. The 50 Durometer Thermoplastic Vulcanizate construction provides a tacky and slightly rubberized feel for a secure purchase during courses of fire. Likewise, a flared palm shelf works with the palm swell for a consistent, rapid grip.
Each side of the Wing Grip features wings for enhanced support and handling leverage while providing thumb rests. The grip includes robust texturing on the side panels and backstrap to provide a non-slip grip. In addition, the raised trigger finger surface forces the finger into the proper curved position. As a result, is better trigger control and comfort.
