Boasting the most compact Scorpion package yet, Volquartsen releases the Mini Scorpion .22 LR target pistol. The latest offering features the company’s VF Target Frame and Competition Bolt to ensure enhanced accuracy. Likewise, based on the Ruger MK II and MK III platforms, the pistol is available as a complete pistol or standalone upper, compatible with the Ruger MK platforms.

The Volquartsen Mini Scorpion Pistol

Building on the Aluminum VF Target Frame, the Mini Scorpion features a 1911 grip angle for comfortable ergonomics. The frame includes a black anodized finish to ensure longevity and wear resistance. In addition, rubber Hogue grips with finger grooves help with positive retention while firing.

Riding atop the frame is the black anodized aluminum LLV upper with fiber optic front and target rear sights. Running the length between the sights is a 7-slot Picatinny rail to attach an optic for enhanced accuracy. Providing the action is the Volquartsen Competition Bolt with DLC coating to deliver smooth operation and function.

Housed within the upper is the 3-inch stainless steel barrel with stainless steel laser-hardened breech within a type III hard anodized aluminum shroud. Chambered in .22 LR, the barrel includes a ½ x 28 threaded muzzle for running a suppressor or other muzzle device. As a result, the Mini Scorpion provides match-grade accuracy in a lightweight package.

Rounds are delivered downrange via a trigger with the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit for a 2.25-pound trigger pull. The Mini Scorpion ships with a 10-round capacity magazine.
