Top 5 Cities For A Bachelor Party, Not Including Vegas Of Course

Everybody and their dog have had a bachelor or bachelorette party in Vegas. While the area is well suited to that type of celebration, almost everything fun to do in Vegas is overpriced and overcrowded, meaning you’re likely to have to pay big cover charges and wait in lines to get into the hot spots. Contrary to what the casino industry would have you believe, Las Vegas does not have a monopoly on killer party scenes. If you’re looking to have a slightly less conventional bachelor party experience or your fiancé’s bachelorette party got first dibs on location and chose Las Vegas, then this list is for you. So, without further ado, these are the top five cities in North America to have a bachelor party.

5. San Diego, California

If you are looking for a great beach town on the West Coast, San Diego is your choice. It has all the charm that attracted so many people to California, but it still has a somewhat smaller-town feel, especially if you hit the locals’ favorite spots. It goes without saying that San Diego has some of the best beaches in the world for surfing, swimming and soaking up the sun. The city also has a very vibrant nightlife, featuring everything from dive bars to full-on nightclubs. Other activities include world-class deep-sea fishing expeditions, craft brewery tours and unforgettable yacht charters. If you have the means, try to stay in an Airbnb as close as possible to the beach.

4.Scottsdale, Arizona

Scottsdale is an underrated destination. Expect it to be hotter than the sun in summer, but this upscale desert town has a lot to offer. If you’re looking for activities to tell your fiancé about, the Scottsdale area features over 200 golf courses, hosts a number of major league teams’ spring training facilities, has a few cool desert hikes, and has world class steakhouses. If you want something a little more on the wild side, Old Town Scottsdale’s night and day clubs host some of the craziest pool parties in the U.S.

The nightclubs are packed to the brim every weekend, and there are casinos a short drive away. There are hotels in Old Town that have everything you need, including exclusive pool parties guests have access to, but the best option with a big group of guys is to find an Airbnb close by (there are many) that can accommodate your group size.

3. Cabo San Lucas, México

Cabo has everything you need for a bachelor party. In fact, the only reason Cabo isn’t higher up the list is because you need to travel out of the country to get there. Located at the very southern tip of Baja California, Mexico, Cabo sits right at the meeting point of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. One of Mexico’s safest and most beautiful tourist towns, Cabo can be as family friendly or wild as you want it to be.

The place is riddled with resorts, condos and Airbnb rentals within walking distance of the beaches and marina, and they rent for prices you can’t get in the United States. Many resorts feature all-you-can-eat-and-drink packages for just a few hundred dollars per person. Some actually have bachelor party packages you can purchase that include daytime activities like booze cruises and pool parties, as well as nighttime craziness at gentlemen’s clubs and nightclubs. If you’re looking for something a little more wholesome, there are a number of beautiful golf courses a short distance away, as well as fishing, jet skiing and diving tours. Although you’re crossing an international border, getting to and from Cabo, especially from the West Coast, is fairly quick, cheapand painless.

2. Miami, Florida

Miami is in the running for party capital of the USA. South Beach combines beautiful beaches with a thriving nightlife. Miami takes a lot of pride in its night club scene, so if that’s your jam, this is the place for you. During the day, resorts and day clubs host crazy pool parties with big name DJ’s, andthat’s just the warm up. Nightclubs in Miami are plentiful and they literally go all night. Most close at 5:00 a.m.,but there are after-hours spots that go until early afternoon the next day whenthey eventually kick everyone out.(Gee,I wonder how everyone is staying awake?) Aside from partying, South Florida offers great deep-seafishing, professional sports of all kinds, yacht rentalsand the best Cuban food in the United States. If you’re looking for an East Coast destination,Miami is hard to beat. However, ifyou want to stay at a nice resort or Airbnb,be prepared to spend some money.

1.Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville is known for its nightlife as well, but it’s completely different from the bottle-service, dubstep-DJ, $14-vodka-Red Bull scene you see in Vegas or Miami. Rather, just about every bar and restaurant in town plays live country music from open to close. Some of the greatest country and rock musicians of recent memory have passed through the Nashville bar scene, and the bands you’ll see on any given night downtown are shockingly good. Expect the crowds to be big, rowdyand fun. Out on Broadway(where all the honky-tonk bars are),you’ll see everything from tourists to localsto college students.

If the regular club and casino thing isn’t your favorite but you still like to party, Nashville is an incredible town. An added bonus to the area is the famous Bourbon Trail in Louisville,Kentucky, which features some of the great whiskeydistilleries in Americaandis a two-hour drive away. Making a trip out there and touring the distilleries is worth the trouble. As far as finding a place to stay, there are plenty of Airbnb rentals in the area that can accommodate a large group of guys.
