Apex Is Launching a New Glock Gen5 Trigger Very Soon

Apex Tactical Specialties is the latest manufacturer to get in on the Gen5 aftermarket party with its new Glock Gen5 trigger.

The Arizona-based outfit has announced the upcoming launch — the week of Oct. 16 — for the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger and Apex Action Enhancement Kit for Gen 5 Glock pistols, which hit the market a little more than one month ago.

In the press release, Apex said the new trigger was made by its engineering team to accommodate the ambit slide lock lever of the Gen5 Glock 17 and Glock 19 models.

The Action Enhancement Trigger for the Glock Gen5 is available pre-installed on an Apex Gen5 Trigger Bar. The company says this enables Glock owners to switch out the trigger and trigger bar for an easy return to the stock configuration. Touted as improving trigger performance by reducing travel and offering a shorter reset, this part has a MSRP of $109.95.

Next up, the Apex Action Enhancement Kit pairs the Action Enhancement Trigger with an Apex Performance Connector. This combination reduces the trigger pull weight by around one pound. MSRP for that is  $124.95.
