The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for stealing over two dozen handguns from a gun store in Pennsylvania.
According to the press release, the suspects broke into John’s Gun and Tackle Room in Easton a couple of weeks ago and nabbed 28 different guns. It’s believed that the same group of burglars also attempted to steal from a couple of other nearby gun shops that same night: Lehigh Valley Guns in Allentown and Relic Hunters in Whitehall. For reasons that haven’t been reported, they were unsuccessful.

“Stolen guns often end up in the hands of violent criminals who threaten our communities. ATF is dedicated to protecting the public by identifying and arresting those responsible for these crimes,” said Sam Rabadi, Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Division at the ATF.
The ATF and the Palmer Township Police Department are investigating the gun theft.
