Ballistic Advantage KUUMA Series | New Product

Ballistic Advantage is introducing their new KUUMA series of Blast Directing Pressure Chambers (BDPC), new for 2014. Available in four different versions, the KUUMA was designed for the shooter who wants to optimize barrel pressure and direct muzzle blast, rather than suppress muzzle flash. The KUUMA series, which varies in length, diameter and weight, is a hybrid designed for the AR-15, M4, and M16 family. It is a combination of two other AK-74 design concepts, the Krink and the Booster. The KUUMA series is smaller in size and weight than the aforementioned products. It also has a thicker, stronger, radiuses blast baffle instead of a long, thin cone. The KUUMA series also includes a reduced exit hole to increase pressure. In addition, these Blast Directing Pressure Chambers are made from high fatigue strength, low alloy, chromium steel. They vary in weight from 3.6 ounces (V.3) to 5.8 ounces (V.1). In terms of diameter, they range from .985 inches (V.3 and V.4), to 1.35 inches (V.1). See below for additional details.
