Burris Signature LRF 2000 Rangefinder is Small But Mighty

Burris Optics enters the rangefinder market with its new Signature LRF 2000. The optic boasts fast results at a long range and 1-2 yard accuracy. This new rangefinder is designed for both firearm and archery applications, bridging the gap between the company’s advanced rangefinding riflescopes and archery sights.

The Burris Signature LRF 2000 Rangefinder

Featuring a rugged armored rubber exterior, the LRF 2000 provides optimal protection and enhanced grip. Likewise, the sealed nitrogen-filled chassis provides waterproof and fog-proof performance. As a result, the LRF 2000 is ready for any climate or conditions you can throw at it.

Housed within the rugged exterior is a sophisticated program and laser rangefinding system. This system allows the user to customize operational and data feedback. Featuring a 2,400-yard/2,194-meter ranging capability, the unit is accurate within 1 yard at under 1,000 yards and ± 2 yards over 1,000 yards.

Correspondingly, the LRF 2000 features an adjustable eyepiece, ensuring crisp focus with its +/-6 diopter adjustment range. Likewise, a 7x magnification helps ensure precise ranging for long-distance targets. The LRF 2000’s scan mode provides almost instantaneous readings by holding down the power/ranging button for real-time ranging.

Three operation modes help to meet your shooting environment and targeting needs, providing fast range acquisition. First is an Auto mode, which displays the range of the target with the strongest return signal. Next is Sport mode, which does the same but for the closest target in a group. Finally, Hunt mode displays the furthest range of a group of targets—ideal for ranging through branches or tall grass.

To help with varying angles, the LRF 2000 allows you to choose a readout specific to your shooting scenario. With five different display options, you can cover line-of-sight (LOS) only, horizontal distance (HOR) only, LOS and HOR, LOS and angle (ANG) above and below horizontal, and HOR and ANG.

Operating on a single CR2 battery, the Burris Signature LRF 2000 rangefinder has a run time of 2,000 ranges.
