Colt’s Mustang XSP Delivers Big Bang with Light Weight

Colt introduced its first Mustang models for the .380 ACP pocket pistol in 1986. Since then, the model has only gotten better, and that is the case with the all new Colt .380 Mustang XSP.

The new Colt .380 Mustang XSP is a small, lightweight pocket pistol that boasts enhanced durability, reliability and accuracy, making it one of the top concealed carry handguns on the market.

The .380 Mustang XSP features an enlarged, squared-off tactical triggerguard, a thumb-rest grip design, larger dovetailed sights and a 0.375-inch accessory rail below the dust cover.

The enhancements to the design of the .380 Mustang XSP truly stand out. They include an upgraded front and rear sight, larger slide serrations to offer an improved grip and ambidextrous safeties rather than the typical single safety.

Also, its weight of just 11.8 ounces makes the .380 Mustang XSP the lightest of all the Mustang models.

The precise machining process, use of high quality materials and improvements in design make the new Mustang XSP, along with its brother — the .380 Mustang Pocketlite  — one of the most consistent and reliable firearms on the market.

The .380 Mustang XSP is complimented with a stainless steel slide and barrel that are CNC machined from solid bar stock for precise tolerances.

The pistol measures 5.5 inches long and has a 2.75-inch barrel.’
