Crimson Trace Rides the Rails

The following is a press release from Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace, America’s foremost leader in establishing laser sighting systems as standard equipment on concealed-carry and personal defense firearms, now offers a wide range of options for firearms equipped with rails. The standard Weaver-style accessory rails, or the M1913 Picatinny rails, can be found on a huge selection of firearms across America. Gun owners recognize that those rails open many accessory options, and Crimson Trace leads the firearms industry in providing those options.

Leading the rail equipping category is Crimson Trace’s Rail Master® series. These small, lightweight and compact laser sights feature: Instant Activation, a 5-minute auto shut off because of inactivity to conserve battery life, and either powerful green or red lasers. Nearly a half dozen Rail Master models are available, including one with a coyote tan finish. For anyone seeking a green laser sight for a rail, there’s Crimson Trace’s new CMR-206 Rail Master Universal green Laser Sight. It has an MSRP of $229.

Ahead of the Rail Masters in technology are Crimson Trace’s popular Rail Master Prosâ„¢. These small and easy to operate units combine the best of both worlds—lasers and lights. The CMR-204 (Green) and CMR-205 (Red) permit operation in several modes: laser and light, laser only, light only and laser paired with a disorienting strobe light. All Rail Master and Rail Master Pros will easily install onto pistols, revolvers, rifles (including ARs) and shotguns equipped with M1913 Picatinny, Weaver, or possibly other style accessory rails. Visit a local Crimson Trace dealer to check for product fit, pricing and comparisons. Dealers can be located via the Crimson Trace website in the FIND A DEALER tab.

For long guns with rails, such as the popular AR/MSR rifles, Crimson Trace also produces the Modular Vertical Foregrip® with red and green laser versions available. These MVF Foregrips provide 200 lumens of bright white LED and can be cycled through three light modes, including strobe and constant on. For proper attachment, these units require at least 4 inches of accessory rail. Easy-to-operate side buttons on the unit are the operation controls.
