The Kinsey’s CVA Scout Pistol in .350 Legend

The handcrafted Scout pistol from CVA is a limited-edition offering available exclusively through Kinsey’s. Providing the hunting aesthetic, the Scout features Veil Alpine camo on the synthetic grip and foregrip. The grip itself features three finger grooves and texturing for positive retention while firing.

Featuring a sniper gray finish on all of the metalworks, the Scout is protected against conditions in harsh environments. Sporting a 14-inch fluted stainless-steel barrel, the pistol remains lightweight, perfect for long treks in the deep woods. Additionally, chambered in .350 Legend, the barrel is threaded for suppressors and other muzzle devices. However, it ships with a muzzle brake attached for enhanced recoil mitigation.

Sitting atop the barrel is a three-slot Weaver rail for attaching a scope or other optic device. The single-shot platform operates via the exposed hammer coupled with a trigger at about a three-pound pull. Once the round is expended, the break action design provides fast reloading via the spur beneath the trigger guard.

Although typically not necessary on a single-shot break-action firearm, the Scout includes a safety beneath the hammer. However, reports indicate that this is a requirement due to import restrictions and not a decision of the manufacturer.
