The Limited Edition Ed Brown EVO CC09

Building on the compact Officer’s frame, the EVO CC09 combines a round butt housing and concealed carry grip. Likewise, the slide is shortened to 4 inches and substantially thinned for weight reduction. As a result, the EVO CC09 provides maximum concealability.

Optimized for the 9mm, the pistol is also Ed Brown’s smallest and thinnest 1911 to date. However, it still maintains 100% 1911 controls and handling characteristics. Likewise, checkered black cherry G-10 grips and snakeskin treatment on the forestrap and mainspring housing provide enhanced retention during courses of fire.

The 7-top custom-cut slide features special front and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation. Sitting atop the slide is the smaller, redesigned “Tactical Edge” U-notch rear sight coupled with the orange HDXR front sight. The EVO CC09 is fired via a three-hole adjustable trigger, while a single-side thumb safety and beavertail grip safety make it safe.

Housed within the slide is the 4-inch flush, fluted bull barrel with a recessed crown and bushingless design. Correspondingly, a flat wire recoil spring system helps mitigate felt recoil while firing the EVO CC09.
