To say that Gunsite knows a thing or two about guns is an understatement. They have been at it since 1976, and when a new pistol comes down the line, I pay attention. Fink Custom Gunwork is located on the grounds of Gunsite. Along with designing and building custom guns, they serve the students of Gunsite with repairs during classes. This shop has many great guns, but the latest double-stack 1911 is exceptional.

While polymer striker fired guns are undoubtedly popular, the 1911 style pistol has its own unique charm. The classic 1911 trigger and smooth action make custom 1911’s accurate and easy to shoot. The FCG Gunsite 1911 double stack embodies all these qualities, making it a truly exceptional piece.

Custom Build

The first thing that stands out on this pistol is the great trigger. Tuned to break at a consistent 4.25 pounds, a short clean reset follows. Showing off its Gunsite roots, it has the exclusive Raven cut hammer. It also has custom Gunsite engraving on the gun as well. Other features of the gun include a commander-length match barrel and a grip safety engagement reduction. A very nice bonus is that the gun is already cut for an optic included in the package. The pistol comes with a Holosun SCS Carry that is zeroed at 25 yards for you.
