Gemtech 300 BLK Ammo: The 300 Blackout has taken the tactical market by storm because of its versatility and reliability in AR-platform rifles, and Gemtech is one of the companies leading the way. It recently unveiled three new 300 BLK offerings. The first is a supersonic, 125-grain Nosler hunting load that delivers not only the ballistic performance that you demand but also the smooth extraction and reliable feeding you need out in the field. The second is a supersonic, 147-grain FMJ round that should serve as an economical training option. Gemtech’s third new offering is a subsonic, 220-grain load featuring the Sierra MatchKing (SMK) hollow-point, boat-tail projectile.
Mid America Armament R.T.D.: Mid America Armament recently unveiled its new Rapid Take Down (R.T.D.) kit, which will transform any existing AR-platform rifle or pistol into a detachable-barrel system. With the included steel, low-profile gas block, proprietary barrel nut and free-floating handguard, this kit makes it easy to break down your firearm quickly for storage, transport or caliber conversions (barrel not included). The sleek handgards have several strips of KeyMod slots that help reduce weight and also make it easy to add mission-critical accessories to your carbine like lights, lasers and other enhancements. The handguards are available in several colors and lengths, from 7.5-15 inches. Finally, the R.T.D. kit is 100 percent made in the USA.
Rat Worx ZRX 9mm Tavor Suppressor: Research And Testing (RAT) Worx USA, using the cutting-edge ARClight Forearm design from Manticore Arms, recently developed a suppressor for 9mm IWI Tavor SAR rifles. The overall system will only add an astounding 2.75 inches of length to your bullpup rifle. With the ARClight system, you can install almost any grip, light, laser or pressure switch, and the ZRX suppressor gives you unparalleled noise and recoil reduction in a compact package that only adds about 20 ounces to your rifle. When all is said and done, the rifle’s center of balance still sits nearly directly over the grip and trigger.
Seekins Precision K20 Angled Grip: Designed as a lightweight, ergonomic alternative to the standard forward hand grip, Seekins Precision’s new K20 is CNC machined from a billet of aluminum and weighs only 1.6 ounces. It also features an integrated sling mount and an anodized finish. The K20’s angled grip surface helps diminish felt recoil and provides the shooter with better overall stability when firing. Seekins Precision will be manufacturing the K20 in both KeyMod and M-LOK configurations in a number of anodized colors so shooters can truly customize their rifles.
Sig Sauer Supersonic 300 BLK Ammo: Sig Sauer is now offering new supersonic, match-grade 300 Blackout ammo as part of its Elite Performance line. This supersonic round features a 125-grain Sierra MatchKing projectile and, like Sig’s 220-grain subsonic 300 Blackout round, is designed to bring out the best in today’s high-performance AR rifles. The Sierra MatchKing projectiles in the 300 Blackout supersonic rounds are renowned for their superior accuracy, flat trajectory and consistent point of impact. The unique hybrid hollow-point bullet design also ensures maximum expansion on impact. These cartridges feature match-grade brass cases and function with standard 5.56mm magazines without a reduction in capacity.
Steel Will Chieftain: Steel Will Knives has unveiled its newest American-made knife, the Chieftain 1610/1620. The Chieftain’s 7.48-inch blade is made of 1095 steel that is heat treated and then finished with a black traction coating for additional protection.
