We’ve been hearing rumblings about something new coming from Glock for some time, and now it’s official: the legendary gun maker have confirmed a special production run of pistols for this summer, appropriately dubbed the “Glock Summer Special.”
Most unique among the new offerings are the Glock 17 Gen4 and Glock 19 Gen4 with front serrations, steel sights and extended controls.

“GLOCK strives to provide perfection in all of our products and these special production pistols provide additional enhancements. The front serrations and extended controls make it easier to conduct handgun press checks and enable faster disassembly and easier manipulation of the slide” Glock’s National Sales Manager Bob Radecki said in a statement.
Also included in the Glock summer special are the Glock 17C Gen4 and the Glock 19C Gen4 with compensated slides; the Glock 24 Gen3 and the Glock 17L Gen3; and multiple models in Olive Drab “OD”, including the Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 26 and Glock 34 in Gen3 and Gen4, in addition to the Glock 43.
The Glock Summer Special also features the Glock 17 Gen4, Glock 19 Gen4, Glock 42 and Glock 43 with factory-installed night sights.

The Glock summer special pistols will be available at dealers starting June 1.
