Hatch has expanded its product line by introducing new duty gloves with touchscreen capability. While a majority of other gloves on the market have stiched-on material to provide touchscreen use, Hatch’s new gloves stand out because they are fitted with integrated ATS (Advanced Touchscreen System) technology for a smooth design, optimized tactility and dexterity.

According to the press release, Hatch closely collaborated with law enforcement in order to manufacture gloves which address the daily operational needs of police officers. The result is the new Patrolman, Technician and Contact Touchscreen glove models which all have ATS technology embedded into the thumb, index finger and index knuckle.

“A key feature of Hatch’s touchscreen gloves is the integration of touchscreen capability into the knuckle portion of the index finger,” said Adam Avitabile, Category Director for Hatch. “Sometimes an operator’s job can be messy and being able to answer a phone call or operate a touchscreen device with a knuckle allows the user to do so without contaminating their device or having to remove their gloves.”

The Patrolman Touchscreen Duty (TDG-100) glove was designed for everyday use by police officers. The Patrolman with CoolMax Touchscreen (TWG-100) glove is intended for use in warmer climates. The Technician Touchscreen Utility (TUG-100) is an all-purpose glove, and the Contact Touchscreen Flight with NOMEX IIIA (EFG-100/200/300/400/500) glove is designed for aviators, law enforcement and civilians.
