Henry Repeating Arms recently donated more than 120 guns to support two children fighting cancer. The guns helped raise $70,000 to benefit the families of a 4-year-old Texas boy and 3-year-old Ohio girl.

Henry Guns for Great Causes Help Fight Cancer
Anthony Imperato, Henry Repeating Arms President and Owner, first learned of 3-year-old Sadie Kreinbrink a few months after she received a diagnoses of Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. The malignant childhood tumor requires 66 weeks of chemotherapy treatment. When her mother reached out, Imperato immediately offered assistance through Henry’s Guns For Great Causes program, a charitable arm of Henry Repeating Arms. It focuses on raising money for families of sick children and other worthy causes by selling customized limited edition rifles.
A few months later, a heart-wrenching photo of 4-year-old Beckett Burge went viral. The photo showed the Princeton, Texas boy hunched over a toilet sick from his chemotherapy. After seeing this, Imperato reached out Kaitlin Burge, Beckett’s mother, and offered to create and donate a series of rifles that would be sold to raise money for treatment.
Under the Guns for Great Causes program, Henry Repeating Arms donated a series of 66 “Sweet Sadie” and 60 “Beat It Like Beckett” limited edition rifles. Both feature design and engraving from Baron Engraving, who also donated services. All proceeds will go to the families, respectively, to help cover expenses.
Two Rifles Help Families Fight Cancer
“More often than not, the gun industry is painted in a negative light by the press and media,” Imperato said. “I started Guns For Great Causes to change that narrative and create something positive. These two kids have a smile that stole my heart and I want to sincerely thank everyone who purchases one of these rifles in advance.”
The .22-caliber “Sweet Sadie” edition rifle is built on Henry’s Golden Boy Silver Youth platform. It features a nickel-plated receiver cover, buttplate and barrel band. The genuine American walnut buttstock features engraving with a flowing bow and the words “Sweet Sadie.” The engravings also come with a hand-painted pink fill. The limited edition of 66 rifles represents each week Sadie must undergo chemotherapy. The “Beat It Like Beckett” edition rifles feature a unique configuration. It comes with a large loop lever, brushed metal receiver cover and 17-inch blued steel octagon barrel. The buttstock engraving portrays a hand-painted gold ribbon, the symbol for the fight against childhood cancer.
