Can the Jumpacan Lamborghini Huracan Win the Mint 400 Off-Road Race?

The Mint 400, billed as “The Great American Off-Road Race,” owns a colorful history. Born of old Las Vegas, and everything that goes with it, the Mint 400 rips through the desert to punish man and machine alike. And now B is for Build brings an off-road performance like no other to the starting line–the Jumpacan Lamborghini Huracan.

The Jumpacan Lamborghini Huracan Takes on the Mint 400

But first, let’s take a look at the Mint. Known for its tough, spectacular course, the Mint first ran in 1968. Created by Norm Johnson, the race began as a PR stunt to promote the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt! But soon the Mint took on a life of its own.

Famous race car drivers soon flocked to the desert, according to the Mint 400. Mel Larson, Parnelli Jones, Al Unser and even Rick Mears kicked the tires there. Movie stars like James Garner and Steve McQueen took their shots as well.

In 1972, the race added “The Girls of the Mint 400,” bringing scantly-clad beauties to the desert. Mint 400 Girls included the likes of Lynda Carter, the future Wonder Woman, Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White and even a pair of Playboy centerfolds in Tracy Vaccaro and Dona Speir, according to the Mint 400.

Decades ago, the Mint 400 saw a motley host drivers take their shots with wild entries. From sedans to RV’s, the Mint even hosted a tank! Now a highly modified Lambo joins the race. B is for Build blended a Lamborghini chassis with long-travel suspension and a massive 600 HP engine.

We can’t wait to see what this bad boy will do when the dirt finally starts flying later on this year in the desert. The Mint 400 runs Dec. 1-5 2021 in Las Vegas. For even more info, please visit themint400.com.
