Kahr Firearms Group recently announced the release of a special edition pistol, the 25th Anniversary K9. Only 500 production models of the 25th Anniversary K9 will go into production.

Each special edition K9 starts begins as the company’s popular K9 pistol, chambered in 9mm and made in the U.S. from stainless steel. Kahr then custom machines the front and rear slide serrations and slide cut-outs. The slide receives a commemorative “25 Years” logo engraving. Meanwhile, the barrel and trigger receive a bright polish. The pistol then receives a durable Sniper Grey Cerakote finish. Hogue aluminum grips, with stippling and the Kahr logo, round out the custom touches. Tru-Glo tritium sights enable one-handed slide retraction as well.
Each pistol will be engraved with its number in the series of 500. Each pistol ships in a plastic case, including three magazines, a certificate of authenticity and a matching custom 1791 leather holster. The 25th Anniversary K9 retails for $1,649.
To honor Kahr’s 25th Anniversary, the first Kahr K9 ever built in 1994, along with the first 25th Anniversary K9 in the series, will be displayed in the NRA National Firearms Museum fora special six month exhibit. For more information on the NRA Museum, visit nramuseum.org.
