Weighing just 17 ounces and only 5.5 inches long, Solo pistols are easy to carry. Near-perfect ergonomics borrowed from 1911 pistols, great trigger and 3-dot sights make them easy to shoot accurately. Standard Solo features include stainless steel slide and barrel, machined aluminum frame, ambidextrous thumb safety, removable grips and ambidextrous magazine release button.
The Solo trigger is a single action striker-fired design with an even and smooth pull that breaks clean at 7 pounds. Frame and slide edges are rounded and blended so they do not snag on clothing or holsters. Slide serrations are deep for a secure grip and the magazine well is beveled for quick and positive loading. Solo sights are steel and securely mounted in dovetails machined into the slide for additional durability.
Two models are currently offered, differing only in color of the finish. The SoloTM Carry frame and small parts are matte black, while the SoloTM Carry Stainless frame and small parts are satin silver. All Solo frames wear KimPro II, a premium finish that is both self-lubricating and extremely resistant to salt and the elements. Magazine capacity is 6 rounds and an extended 8-round magazine will soon be available.
