VIDEO: The Noveske Ghetto Blaster Looks Like a Whole Lot of Fun

Oregon-based Noveske Rifleworks has unveiled the interestingly named Ghetto Blaster rifle built on its new Gen 4 platform.

Available in three different configurations, the Noveske Ghetto Blaster sports a custom version of the company’s Gen 4 receiver set, collapsible stock and Noveske handguard offered in either MLOK or KeyMod. Built to accept a lightweight collapsible stock, the receiver set has completely ambidextrous controls; flared mag well; and new “geometry” compared to the Gen 3 version. Also included in the package here is a Magpul grip; adjustable gas block and Geissele SD-E trigger.

Right now there’s a 7.94-inch version of the Noveske Ghetto Blaster in 5.56 and .300 BLK. The company also lists a 16-inch gun in 5.56. If that isn’t enough to pique your interest, this might: a suppressed .300 BLK model—the Ghetto Blaster NSD—as well as a 10mm version are also on tap for Q1 2018.

MSRP for the 7.94-inch Noveske Ghetto Blaster—which weighs in at just 5.25 pounds—is $2,000. The longer 16-inch model is priced at $2,070. Pre-sale for the gun has already kicked off, with the first 100 sold receiving a 10 percent discount. Rifles on pre-order start shipping out in late December.
