VIDEO: Pure Precision SKLTN Rifle Action in Rem 700 Footprint

Pure Precision, formerly known as Mesa Precision Arms, just launched a new premium rifle action for precision and hunting builds. The Pure Precision SKLTN features a Remington 700 footprint and barrel tenon for custom bolt-action rifles.

The SKLTN also incorporates an integrated recoil lug, anti-bind rail and 75-degree bolt handle. The bolt disassembles entirely without tools. The action comes in both right- and left-hand configurations, in short- or long-action lengths. Construction material utilizes either titanium or stainless steel, depending on the model. And each sports Wyatt’s extended box magazine compatibility. The line will add an integrated scope base later in 2023.

“The timing of the release of the SKLTN action couldn’t have been better,” said John Hakes, COO, Pure Precision. “Four years in development and now it’s ready, and the industry is ready for a new source of high-quality light weight actions. We’re excited to see what solutions we can create for people and the partnerships we can forge as a result of the SKLTN and our expanded manufacturing capacity.”

Long-time rifle builders John Hakes, Landon Gines, and Alex Wheeler contributed to the development of the SKLTN over the last four years, according to Pure Precision. Retail prices range between $1,299 to $1,699. For more info, visit pureprecision.com.
