Radians Vertex Hearing Protection
Featuring a sheathed woven cable lanyard, the Vertex hearing protection can easily be hung around the neck until needed. In addition, the earbuds come with three sets of rubber, triple-flanged tips. Ensuring a comfortable and personalized fit, the tips come in small, medium, and large.
Providing a 21dB Noise Reduction Rating, the earbuds also feature two noise compression settings. The Vertex allows you to choose between 85dB and 105dB high/low compression modes. This ensures optimal safety from loud noises, like gunfire, while on the range or on the hunt.
In addition, the earbuds provide 5X sound amplification of everyday sounds. As a result, you can clearly hear wildlife, conversations, and range commands. Likewise, they are equipped with two omnidirectional in-ear microphones with 9mm dynamic-range speakers. This allows for precise sound direction identification for situational awareness and listening for game.
Featuring Bluetooth connectivity, the Vertex also provides a seamless connection to mobile devices for music, streaming media, or phone conversations. The earbuds are controlled via a mid-lanyard fob.
Operating on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, the Vertex provides 9 hours of run time on a single charge. When they run out of power, they can be recharged via the included USB-C cable.

Although the Vertex offers compression modes to dampen loud percussive noises further, it is still a good idea to double them up on indoor ranges. But I would recommend this for any earbud-style hearing protection. When shooting indoors, there are factors that will increase the sustained decibels, and earbuds do not offer the same level of protection as muffs. So, it is always a good idea to double up on indoor ranges.
