Remington 2020 Digital Optic System – New for 2014 | VIDEO

The Remington 2020 Digital Optic System by Remington Arms and TrackingPoint brings accuracy to another level. The Remington 2020 combines a 3-21x digital optic with a 750-yard laser rangefinder, an advanced ballistic computer, a video and audio recorder and a Wi-Fi server.

The Remington 2020 comes equipped with a Heads Up Display (HUD) which provides information on environmental conditions (air temperature, barometric pressure), the compass heading of the rifle and more. There are three controls along the top of the 2020: the zoom function, a manual input for crosswind and the “tag” button. The back of the 2020 includes a mode and power button, focus for the optic, and an adjustment for the ocular.

The shooter can designate his or her target by pressing the “tag” button. After that, the laser rangefinder fires and the ballistic computer is activated. At 54x per second the ballistic solution will be updated and presented in the HUD as a blue reticle. The shooter then moves the blue reticle onto his or her intended point of impact and squeezes the trigger.

Each system comes with a hand-selected rifle (Remington 700 Long-Range chambered in 30-06 SPRG, Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC -SDTM with Threaded Muzzle chambered in 308 Win, and Bushmaster Varminter chambered in 223 Remington), a specially-packed 300-rd case of ammunition and a wheeled hard case with custom-fitted foam insert. The optical system is custom matched to a rifle and caliber to fill a shooter’s needs in hunting and tactical situations. Suggested retail price is $5,499.99–$5,574.99.
