The small town of Roswell, New Mexico, has a population of only 50,000 residents. Fun fact for those UFO-phobes out there, the Jingle Bob Ranch was about 5 miles (8 km) from the center of Roswell, at South Spring Acres. At the time, it was the largest ranch in the United States, and the owner was the well-known John Simpson Chisum, who had some cattle “beef” with Billy the Kid. But an even more fun fact … aliens it has aliens. 

The Roswell Incident

For many of us today, the name “Roswell” will inevitably conjure up thoughts of flying saucers crash landing in the remote New Mexico desert, Mulder, Scully, and stories about government conspiracies and cover-ups. The events of 76 years ago have spawned books, movies, and TV shows, and the “Roswell Incident” has attained the status of an American myth. 

In 1947, a slew of UFO sightings was being reported across the United States, with the most being reported in the summer months from June to July. William W. “Mac” Brazel was the discoverer of the UFO wreckage near Roswell. Mac Brazel, a rancher, heard the explosion on the evening of July 2, 1947. There were many UFO sightings reported during that thunderstorm near Roswell. 

The next morning, Mac and D. Proctor (a seven-year-old boy) discovered strange wreckage in a field. Brazel was detained for questioning. A UFO craft and alien bodies were allegedly found when the impact site was located. On July 8, 1947, the Roswell Daily Record announced the capture of a flying saucer. The official explanation was that a weather balloon had crashed. Many Roswell inhabitants, however, believe aliens had arrived.

Why did the aliens decide to start visiting us anyway? Some would say it was a nuclear decision. That the blast from when we decided to test an atomic bomb in New Mexico’s white sands desert, we inadvertently announced to the universe that we were here. Never give away your position.

The Gadget

The efforts of the Manhattan Project finally came to fruition in 1945. After three years of research and experimentation, the world’s first nuclear device, the “Gadget,” was successfully detonated in the New Mexico desert. The test was conducted at the Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range, 230 miles south of Los Alamos.

The nuclear device detonated at Trinity, nicknamed “Gadget,” was shaped like a large steel globe. Like the Fat Man bomb dropped on Nagasaki, it was a plutonium implosion device. This device is more efficient and powerful than gun-type uranium bombs like the Little Boy bomb detonated over Hiroshima.

Plutonium implosion devices use conventional explosives around a central plutonium mass to quickly squeeze and consolidate the plutonium, increasing the pressure and density of the substance. An increased density allows the plutonium to reach its critical mass, firing neutrons and allowing the fission chain reaction to proceed. To detonate the device, the explosives were ignited, releasing a shock wave that compressed the inner plutonium and led to its explosion.

The UFO Museum and Research Center

The museum was established in 1991. It includes a gift store with UFO-inspired souvenirs, reenactments, and all the literature you could ask for. The museum walls include newspaper clippings, official documents and news reports. It’s a regular alien enthusiast’s dream come true. At certain times of the year, guest speakers come, like UFO-ologists and more. They have a fully stocked gift shop with all the alien and UFO trinkets your heart desires. They even have socks and tie clips if you need to look sharp for your future abductions. 

Ancient Astronaut Theory

There are plenty of ancient alien artifacts and reading material at the museum as well. Whether you are a Giorgio Tsoukalos fan or not, it’s pretty entertaining. Then there are the facts about ancient astronauts, such as King Pakal, that are simply uncanny. When we found his sarcophagus, the lid of it was adorned with some pretty extraordinary carvings. Some think it depicts him in some kind of a craft as if he were blasting off into space. 

Once you see this depiction, you simply cannot unsee it, as they say. But one may ask, did he get this technology or idea from alien visitors, little green men, or maybe more prominent gray men, or is there a more grounded explanation? Take a look, and you be the judge. 

The Deep State Is Really Lizard People

Are we alone in the universe? Are we, human beings, the only living beings stuck to a tiny water-filled planet flying around out there? There are too many questions that can be asked regarding life beyond our world. Whether or not we are alone in this life has been a question the human race has been asking since the very beginning. However, the one we are most focused on in our lifetime is, have we been visited? Or do they live amongst us? Are they planning a takeover, and should we be concerned? 

We have come a long way with technology in general, and it will only become more accessible as we adapt quickly to new technology. Many philosophical, moral, and ethical questions must be asked before we fully understand the full implications of our actions. But one question remains that we all must know the answer to … Is the government being run by lizard people? The answer is clearly yes. Some of you feel this theory is a conspiracy, but perhaps it is not. 

Theorist David Icke, who first published this idea in a 1999 book, The Biggest Secret, posits that tall, blood-drinking, form-shaping, reptilian humanoids from the Alpha Draconis star system are now hiding in underground bases and are the force behind a worldwide New World Order. He contends that most of the world’s ancient and modern leaders are related to these reptilians, including the Merovingian dynasty, the Rothschilds, the Bush family, and the British royal family. Come on, we can all agree the royal family is all a little off. 

Whether you believe it or not or just think it’s all good fun, heed the warnings and put on your tinfoil hats. Better safe than sorry.
