Available in .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR, the new Ruger American Rimfire Stainless models all boast a 416 stainless steel barrel, bolt and receiver. Those components sport a hand-buffed satin finish, while the thread protector, bolt release, stock and one-piece Picatinny scope base are in contrasting black.

Meanwhile, the 18-inch barrel on the Ruger American Rimfire Stainless is cold hammer-forged and free-floated in the lightweight synthetic stock and finished with a ½”-28 threaded muzzle for suppressors and other muzzle devices. The twist rate is 1:16 for the .22 LR version, 1:14 for the .22 WMR, and 1:9 for the .17 HMR. In addition, the rifle also features an integral bedding system for enhanced accuracy. Also included is Ruger’s Marksman adjustable trigger, which offers a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight between three and five pounds.
The Ruger American Rimfire Stainless also has a modular stock system that enables you to adjust the rifle to suit your needs by allowing for different comb heights and lengths of pull. The rifles all come with a high comb, standard length of pull module installed, providing ideal cheek weld for optics.
