Celebrating its annual Gun of the Year, SK Customs releases the Lady of Guadalupe limited-edition 1911, chambered in .38 Super. There are only 300 units available, so you will want to get yours early.
The SK Customs Lady of Guadalupe Colt 1911
Using a Colt 1911 Full Size Government as its canvas, the Lady of Guadalupe features a royal blue polished finish. Likewise, accentuating the significance of the tale it tells, every detail is meticulously polished, from the frame and slide to the barrel and hardware. Chambered in .38 Super, the 1911 is as functional as it is beautiful.
In addition, 24k gold pins, screws, and controls stand out against the polished blue backdrop. Providing the interface are marbled blue Kirinite grip panels emblazoned with 24k stars and the iconic Rampant Colt in gold.
Each side of the slide showcases intricate illustrations signifying the roses the Virgin Mary’s apparitions presented to Juan Diego. The rear panel on the left side of the frame depicts St. Juan Diego. Similarly, the right rear panel showcases the Crescent moon, adorned with stars and the special edition number xxx of 300. The illustrations feature 24k gold plating for high contrast against the royal blue canvas.
Rounding out the theme is a stunning portrayal of Our Lady Guadalupe accompanied by an angel sits atop the slide. 24k gold stars across her mantle symbolize her greatness, which surpasses the stars in the sky. Likewise, the image represents her historical significance during the Mexican War of Independence and the Great Revolution of 1910.
“SK Customs is dedicated to creating firearms that not only exemplify exceptional quality but also honor cultural and historical milestones,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Customs. “The limited-edition Lady of Guadalupe Colt 1911 is a testament to our commitment to excellence and reverence for the Virgin Mary’s apparitions.”
