A staple color of Steyr’s polymer furniture for almost half a century and seen extensively on the SSG 69 rifle and STG 77 (AUG), the OD Green color has been added to the M9-A1 as a result of overwhelming demand from shooters, the company says.
The striker-fired OD Green M9-A1 is chambered in 9mm and sports a four-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, as well as a polymer frame that that offers quality ergonomics with a high grip and low bore axis that mitigate muzzle rise. The grip angle is optimal for a natural point of aim. On the bottom of the dust cover, meanwhile, is a Picatinny rail for mounting a light and laser-aiming devices. Also included is an integrated trigger safety with a reset action system trigger that requires positive finger pressure to operate. This gun also features a keyed safety lock.
Offering the end user superior accuracy, safety and ergonomics, not to mention an intuitive sighting system and rock-solid reliability, the OD Green M9-A1 ships boasts a 17-round magazine capacity and is available at a suggested retail price of $560.
