The CZ Scorpion, with 9mm carbine and pistol variants available, remains a popular defensive platform. An entire cottage industry seemingly sprung up around the nimble 9mm, and now Timney Triggers adds to the list. The new Timney CZ Scorpion trigger reduces pull weights down to 2 3/4-3 3/4 pounds.
Timney CZ Scorpion Trigger
The concept follows the Timney mantra: “A fine rifle is no better than its trigger.” So the company engineered every component of the new Scorpion trigger to elevate accuracy potential. The present range delivers a remarkably light trigger pull.
The trigger’s hammer and trigger shoe feature precision-machined steel heat-treated to 56 Rockwell C. A black oxide coating provides the finish. Meanwhile, Timney NP-3 plates the hammer for maximum lubricity and extended life.
Like all Timney triggers, the new Scorpion model comes with the company’s No Hassle, Lifetime Warranty. It comes offered in a curved trigger shoe model and works in all CZ Scorpion models.
From the EVO 3 S1 Carbines with Magpul equipment to the EVO 3 S1 Pistol, the CZ Scorpion remains one of the coolest 9mm platforms on the market. Now with a trigger that reduces the pull weight to competition-type levels, the platform just got a whole lot better.
