Magnum Research has introduced a number of new additions to its firearms lineup this year, including additions to its renowned Desert Eagle collection and its Magnum Lite Rimfire (MLR) rifles. While the heavy-hitting Desert Eagles offer undeniable stopping power in big-bore calibers like .44 Magnum and .50 AE, the MLR rifles serve the opposite end of the shooting spectrum with versatile, budget-friendly .22 LR and .22 WMR chamberings.
For the first time, Magnum Research has decided to produce and all-stainless-steel version of the Desert Eagle pistol. Boasting a 6-inch barrel and a hefty 4.8-pound weight, the new stainless Desert Eagle delivers a refined aesthetic to fans of this classic powerhouse. The pistol includes a Picatinny bottom rail as well as a Weaver-style rail along the slide. Chambering include .44 Magnum, .50 Action Express and .357 Magnum.
The Desert Eagle L5 is a new lightweight version of the big-bore pistol. With a pared down muzzle and slide, as well as a barrel system that features skeletonized areas inside the slide, this 5-inch-barreled pistol comes in under 50 ounces. It will be released in the .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum and .50 AE chamberings later this year.

The new Baby Desert Eagle III is an update to the more compact Baby Desert Eagle line that will feature polymer and stainless steel versions. The new pistols will feature redesigned slides and slimmer grips for lighter weights, integral decockers, manual safeties as well as accessory rails. Available chambering will include 9mm, .40 and .45 ACP.
Magnum Research has also updated its Magnum Lite Rimfire rifle line to include new black American walnut stocks. These lightweight rifles feature a modular barrel system that is tensioned between a steel breech face and an end cap. Each barrel is threaded for the attachment of a suppressor. MLR rifles are available in .22 LR and .22 WMR.
