New for 2015, Dara Holsters has introduced the Level III Duty Holster.

Made from .125″ Boltaron/Kydex riveted to .093″ Boltaron/Kydex for unbeatable strength and the support, the brand new Level III Duty Holster features three separate levels of retention: the first is Dara’s adjustable military grade retention system featured on all of the company’s custom holsters. The second is the thumb throw retention system, which consists of “a rotating hood held in the upward position by a molded detent, giving it a very similar feel to a tight operating safety on an AR-15 variant rifle,” the product listing reads. It’s a completely manual system.

The third level of retention is the ejection port locking system, which requires the breaking of snap release button on the grip. The gun needs to be rocked down to be drawn. In addition, this holster comes with a double belt loop with an adjustable cant system.

The Level III Duty Holster is available only for the Walther PPX and the Glock 17/22/31. The MSRP is $159.99.
