Rosco Purebred SPR Barrels: 18″ & 20″ AR Barrels for DIY Builds

Rosco Manufacturing recently expanded its Purebred series of barrels for additional performance upgrade options for DIY builders. The Rosco Purebred SPR barrels come in 18- or 20-inch SPR contours, designed for accuracy and hard use.

“We’re excited to announce that these two Purebred barrels are now available for purchase,” said Rosco Manufacturing President Mike D’Angelo Jr. “This barrel line is proudly made from scratch in our Rhode Island facility, and is a culmination of all the lessons we’ve learned through years of making barrels for several OEM’s. These barrels are built to produce results right out of the box for any shooter that is looking to take their skills above and beyond.”

The 18-inch .223 Wylde barrel enhances the performance of the original SPR, according to Rosco. The contour delivers accuracy on cold bore shots. Meanwhile, it offers a manageable weight at 39 ounces. The gas port sizes accommodate most popular precision bullet weights and work with suppressor use. Think SPR or DMR rifle build when selecting the 18-inch Purebred SPR.
