SIG 1911-XCARRY: A Modern Gov't Model for Carry Optics EDC

Back in March, we brought you news of SIG’s latest take on the timeless Government Model, the 1911-XFULL. The upgraded 1911 incorporated an optic cut in the slide, brining an elevated 1911 for carry optics. Now SIG has taken that same approach to pistol much more suited for everyday carry–the SIG 1911-XCARRY.

SIG 1911-XCARRY Details

The XCARRY features a railed stainless steel frame, ambidextrous safety and front and rear serrations. A removable metal magwell adds even greater appeal. A stylized carbon steel slide pairs with several custom aesthetics. The serrated front strap puts a distinct touch on the classic form.

The 1911-XCARRY comprises a take on the Government Model built for the red dot revolution. It brings a balance between classic engineering and style with several modern upgrades. The pistol features an ultra-low-profile, direct-mount optic capability. XRAY3 Day/Night sights provide a backup sighting system. A flatblade trigger and custom G10 grip panels from LOK Grips upgrade the ergonomics, providing superior handling for shooting and comfort.
