The Ruger Wrangler has quickly established itself as one of America’s favorite little rimfire lines. The single-action platform, chambered in .22 LR, brings an Old West feel. But chambered in affordable rimfire ammo, the Wrangler becomes a shooting favorite, trainer, trail gun and more. Now the line gets new additions, bringing more versatility for small game hunters and shooters.
Ruger Wrangler 6.5″ & 7.5″ Revolvers
The new Wranglers come with longer barrel profiles. The 6.5″ and 7.5″ models come on the famed Single-Six-pattern grip frame. Each model, like all Wranglers, sport a distinctive Cerakote finish. Colors include Black, Bunt Bronze and Silver.
This becomes the second launch of new Wrangler revolvers over the last couple of weeks. Previously, Tactical Life reported on the addition of “Sheriff” model Wranglers. Those variants come in 3.75-inch models. Now the longer-barreled versions offering more accuracy potential. For others, the six-guns represent yet another take on classic cowboy guns of old. Add in previous additions like the Birdshead model, and Ruger’s Wrangler line continues to impress.
The Ruger Wrangler retails for $269. For even more info, please visit ruger.com.

Editor’s Take
We’ve had great experiences testing and shooting Ruger Wrangler revolvers. We haven’t gotten our hands on this variant just yet, but we’re pretty confident it will be yet another winner. Ruger figured this platform out rather quickly. The longer barreled models should just add a little bit of weight and some increase in sight radius. Both of those attributes will blend to help shooters getting even more accuracy out of an already accurate little six-gun. In short, a great platform to start new shooters, carry in a holster or shoot for fun just got even better. Bravo Ruger.
