The Regent BR9 dropped earlier this month and Hi Power fans will be pleased.
As YouTuber Graham Baates says, the new pistol is “an excellent modern production variant” of the classic Browning Hi Power.

Manufactured by Tisas and imported LKCI, LLC., the Regent BR9 has a sub-$500 MSRP. Selling prices for original Hi Power can easily fetch upwards of $1,000 since they are no longer in production.
“On the range the gun is very manageable and comfortable to shoot so long as you keep the web of your hand free from the hammer,” Baates said. “I guess folks in the 1930s had less-fleshy hands than I do. Regardless, a slight shift in the grip and now we can enjoy a piece of history.
“The Cerakote finish may not be historically accurate, but will provide years of good looks and protection,” Baates added. “In the end the Regent BR9 gives us a new option for those wanting to own a High Power.”
