The long-time president of Charter Arms, Nick Ecker, has commissioned a special Bulldog revolver to commemorate Charter’s 50-plus years of designing and producing firearms.
Ecker is emphasizing that Charter Arms is an American company and all its revolvers are made by professional, skilled craftsmen using all American-made parts. All of the vendors that supply parts to Charter Arms are located within 50 miles of the plant in Shelton, Connecticut.
To serve as both a keepsake and provide an example of outstanding workmanship, Charter Arms is now offering a limited-edition 50th Anniversary Bulldog revolver. It will be just like the original with a 3-inch barrel, checkered walnut grips and a polished blued finish. It will then be embellished with scroll engraving on the barrel, cylinder and frame. On the left side of the frame, below the cylinder-release latch will be a 24-carat gold bulldog head inlay highlighted by punch marking. This handsome revolver is destined to become a collector’s item and a cherished heirloom.
