MAC IX: Military Armament Corps 9mm, PCC Pistol Variant

Military Armament Corps just announced the release of its latest PCC design, the MAC IX. A direct blowback semi-auto PCC, the MAC IX comes fitted with an AR-style grip and a Picatinny rail for optics.

The svelte package weighs in a just 5 pounds overall. With an abbreviated overall length of 15.97 inches, the large-format pistol employs a click-adjustable front an rear sight. The 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers wear a black anodized finish.

The 6.5-inch barrel incorporates a tri-lug muzzle and device and a muzzle threaded 1/2-28 for muzzle devices and suppressor use. To add to the unit’s versatility, the MAC IX features AR-style quick-takedown pins and an ambidextrous charging handle. A vertical Picatinny rail on the back of the receiver accepts a variety of stabilizing pistol brace designs.

The MAC IX runs on MP5-style magazines, adding greatly to the appeal in terms of aftermarket sources. The MAC IX comes standard with two metal MP5 magazines, cleaning kit, cable lock, an extra mainspring retainer pin, and premium lockable hard case. It retails for under $850.
