We’re always on the lookout for cool new military movies, and this one definitely looks like it fits the bill. “Mine” is about a U.S. soldier who — after a failed assassination attempt in the Middle East — accidentally steps on a landmine in the desert while trying to make his escape. If he lifts his foot, the landmine explodes. To make a bad situation worse, he’s got 52 hours until help arrives.

This action-packed military thriller stars Armie Hammer (“Free Fire,” “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.”) as a U.S. soldier who, stranded in the desert for 52 hours after a mission falls apart, must fight for survival against his enemies, the hostile environment, and the creeping psychological toll of his treacherous situation.
