There can’t possibly ever be another law enforcement agency with the history and romance quite like the vaunted Texas Rangers. From shootouts to manhunts, the legendary Texas lawmen ruled the frontier and into the 20th century. Along the way, the Rangers wielded some impressive fightin’ iron as well. This latest creation from Davidson’s takes another legendary wheelgun, the Smith & Wesson Model 20 in .357, and gives it a serious makeover befitting the very legends the special run honors. Priced right under $3,000, it’s a steep price to pay you could argue. But from the imagery we’re getting at first look, this blaster appears very well-appointed indeed. This one would sure look good on the desk or anywhere in a collection. But it’s an S&W, so it should still be a shooter as well.
