New FN Compensator Kit

Every year or so, there seems to be a new “must-have” for our firearms. Some of them are questionable, and some are solid. One item that falls into the solid category is compensators. While some may argue they are unnecessary, they do improve performance. The challenge has been for gun owners with guns made before comps were a big deal. New FN Compensator Kit – Improving Performance

For existing FN 509 owners, the new FN compensator kit presents an upgrade opportunity. Compatible with the FN 509 standard, compact, or midsize models. The kit incorporates a quick-detached design for easy installation without needing tools. The compensator decreases muzzle rise by up to 25 percent. The comp minimizes felt recoil and maintaining a consistent sight picture through its v-style port design.

The kit is machined from stainless steel and coated with a robust PVD finish, the compensator is extremely durable and is designed to withstand rugged use across standard and self-defense loads for the broadest degree of compatibility while still utilizing the factory FN 509 recoil spring.

New FN Compensator Kit is Easy to Install

The kit’s installation requires no tools and can be done in less than one minute. Simply disassemble your slide from the frame, remove the spring and existing barrel, insert the new barrel included in the kit, attach the comp to the end of the threaded barrel, and reinsert the recoil spring. You replace the slide onto the frame, and the conversion is completed.
