IWI Gas guns have proven to be exceptional rifles. The Zion 15 is one of my favorite rifles, and it runs flawlessly. Building on this success, IWI has now built a large-frame AR-10-style rifle. The IWI Zion 25.
IWI Zion 25 – AR10 Style Rife
The Zion-25 series seeks to emulate and exceed the successful large frame gas guns that have come before. The large frame gas gun space, with AR-10s loosely grouped, has no standard comparable to the AR-15’s. The variance between manufacturers has resulted in a wide range of rifles and performances. The Zion-25 series of carbines and DMRs (Designated Marksman Rifles) are an accurized evolution of the no-nonsense approach to a modern duty grade AR-15 that resulted in the Zion-15 series.
The series features highly accurate free-floated 1:8 twist barrels for the 6.5 Creedmoor models and 1:10 twist barrels for the .308 Winchester models. They are wrapped in new ARCA-compatible M-LOK handguards, kitted with ergonomic B5 Systems grips and stocks, and sport QD sling compatibility out of the box. In addition, the Z-25s all come with the phenomenal IWI-exclusive Timney 2-Stage trigger that debuted with the Z-15 SPR. IWI is offering three different models.

16″ Tactical Rifle
The shortest large-frame gas gun variant from IWI US, this 16″ Tactical Rifle includes a specifically designed 15″ Free Float Carbine Handguard with ¼ ARCA, a B5 Systems Stock and Grip, and one (1) 20-round Magpul PMAG. Proudly manufactured and assembled at the IWI US facility here in the United States.
18″ DMR
The 18” barreled DMR large frame gas gun variant from IWI US is an 18 precision rifle featuring a 17” Freefloat Handguard with M-LOK and ARCA, a B5 Systems Stock and Grip, and includes one (1) 20-round Magpul PMAG. The 18” barrel allows the user to take advantage of much of the .308 Winchester’s velocity and accuracy potential without sacrificing mobility, even with a suppressor.

20″ DMR
The 20” barreled DMR large frame gas gun variant from IWI US is a precision rifle featuring a 17” Freefloat Handguard with M-LOK and ARCA, a B5 Systems Stock and Grip, and includes one (1) 20-round Magpul PMAG. The 20” barrel combined with the +2 gas system length allows the user to take advantage of much of the 6.5’s impressive ballistics, velocity, and accuracy potential while smoothly handling the recoil to keep the user on target. The design enables faster, more accurate follow-ups and smoother transitions to new targets.
