Back in 2021, Aimpoint introduced its closed-emitter ACRO P-2 with an improved emitter (below). The original model was only available in a black finish and offered shock-resistant, waterproof operation and a long battery life. Now, just in time for SHOT Show, the company introduces two new models with Sniper Grey and FDE Cerakote finishes.
The Aimpoint ACRO P-2 is Now Available in Sniper Grey and FDE
Featuring a 7075-T6 high-strength aluminum housing, the ACRO P-2 now comes in two new Cerakote finishes—Sniper Grey and FDE. Likewise, the waterproof construction is submersible to 35 meters/115 feet. As a result, the optic can withstand hard use in harsh environments for extended periods of time.
In addition, the closed emitter optic houses a night vision compatible 3.5 MOA red dot reticle. Protecting the reflective front lens and LED emitter are hardened front and rear multilayer-coated lenses. Correspondingly, the lenses have recessed edges, allowing for available flip-up lens covers when used with a carbine, shotgun, or rifle.
The reticle has ten brightness settings, with four night vision compatible and six daylight settings. Featuring an intuitive design, the brightness adjustment buttons are easy to use with gloves. Likewise, located on the left side of the optic, the buttons are easy to access and operate while maintaining a proper grip on your pistol.
With a side-mounted battery compartment, the single CR2032 battery can be changed without removing the optic or re-zeroing. Utilizing the higher capacity CR2032, the ACRO P-2 delivers 5 years of constant-on use—50,000 hours at daylight setting 6.
Ideal for a wide range of platforms, the ACRO P-2 features a variety of mounting solutions. Correspondingly, a variety of adapter plates are available for most optic-ready pistols. Likewise, the optic features mounting options for carbines, rifles, and shotguns.
