Fusing Capability and Concealment: Sig Sauer Releases the P365-FUSE

Sig Sauer revamped its popular P365 platform with the P365-FUSE, a fusion of concealability and capability. The company’s latest model couples a full-size slide and barrel with the P365 platform and shape for concealability. As a result, you get more muzzle velocity and a longer sight radius in a concealed carry-friendly package.

The SIG Sauer P365-FUSE

The P365-FUSE builds on the polymer LXG (laser-engraved X-grip) grip module. A version of the X-Macro grip module, it has custom stippling done at Sig Sauer that is also used on the company’s competition guns. The stippling provides a secure grip during courses of fire, whether wet or dry.

To ensure the perfect fit the grip features interchangeable backstraps and ships with small, medium, and large options. In addition, a high undercut trigger guard and high beavertail promote a high purchase to help manage recoil. Just forward of the trigger guard is a three-slot Picatinny rail for attaching a light or laser.

The full-size stainless steel slide features aggressive forward and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation. Riding atop the slide is a fiber-optic front sight coupled with a serrated rear sight, providing the sight radius of a full-size pistol. However, the slide also includes an optic cut with the Shield-RMSc footprint ready to direct mount the ROMEO-X Compact optic. Correspondingly, the P365-FUSE is also available with the ROMEO-X Compact already installed.

A 4.3-inch carbon steel, DLC-finished barrel chambered in 9mm is housed within the slide. The P365-FUSE delivers its payload via a nickel-plated, flat-faced X-Series trigger. When it is time to swap magazines, the integrated yet detachable magwell facilitates fast reloads. Likewise, the extended slide lock makes slide lock reloads much easier.

The P365-FUSE ships with two 21-round and one 17-round magazine. However, if you live in a restrictive jurisdiction, you can opt for three 10-round magazines instead.
