SIG SAUER, Inc., has begun to ship its new 1911 Traditional Ultra Compact chambered in 9mm. This rock-solid concealed carry pistol offers the same familiar 1911 controls and SIG SAUER® reliability as the tested .45 Auto Ultra Compact, but in the popular 9mm caliber.

The 1911 Traditional Ultra Compact features the rounded 1911 slide profile, thumb and grip safeties, and a crisp 5-lb. single-action trigger 1911 fans know and love. The natural stainless steel slide stands out from the black hard coat anodized alloy frame.

A skeletonized trigger and hammer give the 1911 Traditional Ultra Compact a high-performance edge. Low-profile night sights and the natural ergonomics of the 1911 platform deliver pinpoint accuracy and performance. Custom Rosewood grips round out the look.

Measuring just 6.8˝ in length and 4.8˝ in height, the 1911 Traditional Ultra Compact makes a great concealed carry option or a backup gun. With 8 rounds of 9mm, the 1911 Ultra Compact offers greater capacity than most of the ultra compact carry options on the market.
