Atlas Devices’ LTL-28 Ladder Offers Versatility For Tactical Situations

Tactical operators and law enforcement first responders sometimes need to reach higher ground quickly in emergency situations. Tactical ladders can be bulky and heavy, making them hard to transport.

Atlas Devices has developed a new ladder that cuts down on bulk and weight without sacrificing strength or height.

The LTL-28 system features a sophisticated design optimized for an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio that offers durability, versatility and incredibly light weight.

The innovative, patented locking joint design enables not just the ability to rapidly deploy and stow the LTL-28, but also the ability to separate the assembly into smaller sections to optimize load carry and length.

The 28-foot full-length ladder weighs less than 45 pounds, a difference of more than 25 pounds less than some competing ladders of inferior length.

Easily separable into smaller sections, the LTL-28 system’s weight can be distributed among several people and rapidly reassembled on-site. It can also be configured for shorter lengths or deployed as several ladders, making it a single solution for many different missions.

The LTL-28 is safe for loads up to 350 pounds. Metal construction provides superior durability over carbon fiber.

The collapsed envelope fits entirely within the torso, enabling unimpeded freedom of movement even when prone: ideal for urban and confined operations. Space within the frame provides storage and protection for additional equipment.
